Orkin Pledges to Double its Veteran Employment by 2026
ATLANTA (November 10, 2023) – In celebration of Veterans Day and to encourage employment within the military community, Orkin is making a hiring pledge to bring more Veterans into its workforce. In honor of its 125th anniversary, by 2026, Orkin plans to double its current number of Veteran employees to represent 10 percent of its overall workforce. Oh, Rats! Chicago Tops Orkin’s Rattiest Cities List for Ninth Consecutive Year
ATLANTA (Oct. 23, 2023) – Chicago continues its first-place run in the rat race, topping Orkin’s Top 50 Rattiest Cities List for the ninth year in a row. Los Angeles moved up to the #2 ranking while New York rounds out the top three spots. Jumping up 10 spots this year is Houston to #20, and Greensboro, N.C., moves up 17 spots to take #50. Mosquitoes are Ready for Their Close-Up: Los Angeles Ranks #1 for Third Consecutive Year on Orkin’s Top Mosquito Cities List
ATLANTA (May 22, 2023) – For the third year in a row, Los Angeles edged out all other cities to land the #1 spot on Orkin’s Top 50 Mosquito Cities List. Holding strong for the second consecutive year at number two and three are Chicago and New York, respectively. The Windy City Can't Blow Bed Bugs Away Chicago Ranks #1 for Third Consecutive Year on Orkin's Bed Bug Cities List
ATLANTA (January 9, 2023) – The Windy City is settling in as the #1 city on Orkin’s Top 50 Bed Bug Cities List for the third year in a row. Chicago, New York and Philadelphia hold onto the top three spots, ranking first, second and third, respectively.
